    Anyone go to this? What were your thoughts? Location not as good as the SECC I felt - but more reasonable entry fee. Five pounds to pass by and stare at a bored Marina Sirtis? Mmm... nice.

    just as well, cos I certainly could not have afforded to buy any of the temptations on show...

    I was in near penury as I forked out for a scribbled-on 1960s Spider-Man comic, some wind-up-and-go Star Wars Burger King toys and a bashed Castle Grayskull.
    Dave Prowse gave a relaxed (I think its the first time I've seen him smile at a convention) talk and, if you looked, there were some gems. The Glasgow Doctor Who society still make the Mormons look unconscientious, as ever

    Forgot about this, but as you say, just as well I didn't since I'd have ended up spending food money on desirable yet useless items.
