Finally got my new rims and summer tires!









Also reprogrammed the motor with the Cobb Accessport tuner, and added a little more chrome bling: turbo badges on the fenders, frames around the side reflectors, and MUSTANG letters on the back. She just keeps getting prettier.

My plans to get the S3 took a hit with the news of an Enderspawn coming in November. Looks like I might get a C200 or an A4 instead.

I just Armor All'ed my tires, cuz for this car there's no such thing as "too shiny."

Edit: I'm thinking about doing the side skirts too, that might look sharp, but it might be even harder to keep clean.

Unfortunately one that I needed. When I did the grocery shopping last week there was a loud racket from the back end of the car. I was alternating between 'What the **** is that?' and 'Is it going to fall off?'.

 

Well, if it had fallen off there is a positive: weight savings.

 

So I'm getting a graduation gift of some sort, and it's between a nice car and a gaming PC. I should go for the latter one, shouldn't I?

 

Depends on how bad you need/want a car, and who is paying for the insurance. If you don't need to drive a lot you might get more use out of the PC.

 

You can't go to get groceries with a PC, but you can play GTA with a car.



That may not be the wisest advice ever.

And here's the big news to celebrate: got the title in today's mail! I've been waiting for that since I made the last payment a month ago. She's mine, all mine! Woohoo!

Also, I tried to find an angle to photograph that didn't look good. Totally failed.

For some reason, the rear lamps do an optical illusion on me, where it looks like they are slanted the same way on both sides, particularly in the photo at the top of this page.

 

I see what you mean, but it's just the angle. They're straight.
