Cookie won't even venture into the garden. So I don't have that to worry about.

It's as if Tigger (the cat's name) is like a rebellious teenager testing his boundaries.

I use to have a dog like that. She would always try to test my rules.

My new kitten Harvey is the cutest, funniest little thing. He's an orange cat, so he looks like a tiger, and he runs around the house constantly. He tries to get my other, older cat Billy to play with him, but no dice. Billy merely tolerates his presence at the moment.

A couple of lazy fat boys. Tigger is the orange one, Smokey is the other.

My best mate cat, Wicket, died last year and though I replaced him a couple months later via the pound it's not the same. The new one is like some guy you hang out with after being dumped because you miss being in a relationship. Yes Wicket you dumped me by dying :(

Sake - Sorry for your loss. Give it time. Soon you will come to love the new member of your family in a different way. I know whenever we can get more cat(s), they will never be like Thatcher and Cabo, but they will be unique and wonderful. :p

timmoishere - Tigger and Smokey are adorable. They have the right cattitude toward life.

Losing a pet, which are were very close to, is very hard. When my dog, Katie, died a few years back I could not bring myself to replace her; even though Cookie gets on well with dogs, I just couldn't get another dog after Katie.

DANNASUK - we had a lovely Tuxedo cat named Cookie for 20 years. She was born in my late grandmother's bakery - hence the name. Your Queen Cookie is beautiful.

    anakinfansince1983 - lovely kitten.

Sith_Sensei__Prime - sorry to hear about Chloe. [:D]

I've always had multiple cats and as I still had one, who hated Wicket and every other cat, I wanted another one. Having gotten one that was completely the opposite of Wicket in personality I at least had the happy result of my feral cat being perfectly fine with the new one. They even sit next to each other, sometimes actual touching occurs lol

But yeah. I still want a big old male cat like my best mate cat. Even though I am a cat person I think it's even more personal with dogs though.

Doogle and Hera are soooooo cute :D

I'd actually like another cat, but Cookie didn't respond well when we tried last time. She demands all the attention and doesn't like sharing it with another pet now. Use to being just her.

    LOL! Badly spent inheritance.

But seriously, a long time ago, I worked in a carousel museum, and I've loved them since I was a child. I'm too sick to work full time these days, but if I find another 'project pony', I'd do it again.

One of my cats is sleeping ontop of the water heater.

Cats find weird places to sleep.

    Fortunately, she didn't.

But more on the subject of cats sleeping in strange places: my family and I had a cat named Jeffrey, who would find a way to get into a small part of our china cabinet.

My two cats (sadly gone now) used to love sleeping under blankets when they were young. I'd come home from work and just see two lumps in the bed.
