You must mean "Hat Trick"....
(Hockey Mom still needs to learn the lingo)
Well, I know that a "Hat Trick" is 3 goals by the same person....and I kinda thought Steph could do better than that....as in "Shut-out", meaning ALL of them.
But you're right, I don't know all the hockey lingo yet. I wish someone would explain "Iceing" to me......and no Chris, I don't mean the kind that gets stuck to the tip of your lightsaber!

Good job Graeme, now guess a riddle!
Hey there Launch, you are really thinking...but,
#5. The word COMMITTEE, while being close...is not the answer I was looking for since the double letters must all be together in a row.
#7. Another good attempt, but the contractions HE'LL, SHE'LL, are not technically personal pronouns......sorry!!
#8. Now THIS was impressive!!! You got more meanings than I did!! Out of the 8 I had...you got 3......5 more to go!
Active brains are refreshing...don't you agree!
Ok, I read the dictionary at school and still could only find one word that began and ended with UND.... The word is underground.... I will be reading my dictonary if I can find it! lol.. . later ppl
I'm not sure if the last one has been finished yet, but to keep the ball rolling, here's another.
Are 1997 nickels worth more than 1992 nickels?
are you talking date or quantity?
What must you do to make the equation below true?
81 x 9 = 801
Well Chris, there are actually two answers to the question......
you can turn the equation upside down....
or you can read it standing on your head!!
108 = 6 x 18
Either way works!
Well, back to Dreamweaver's post, 9. (the only common english word with an "f" prn. "v") is of.

To make women happy!
so..women have no meaning to their lives? (straight ones)

This thread is getting a little threadbare!!
Somebody post some brainteasers.....please! My brain's all pumped up with nowhere to go!
Professor Zizoloziz puts 40 matches on the table and explains a game to his friend Kathy.
Each player in turn takes 1,3,or 5 matches. The winner is the one who takes the last match. Kathy chooses to go first and takes 3 matches.
Who do you think will win this game, Kathy or the professor?
Well, with a name like "The professor" you`d figure that he would win....
I think you're correct Ian.....but you're supposed to explain WHY!!!
No matter what the professer does, because Kathy went first, she will always be subtracting an odd amount from an even number, leaving an odd amount....never zero.
The professer will always be subtracting an odd amount from an odd amount...and can eventually take the last match. Am I right? ?
i believe so...
(Greetings from an Aussie Jedi!)
Going back a bit, a word (i know you were looking for two) with three dotted letters in a row: Fiji
