Wash, DC Brand New Around Here-I live close enough to DC

Hello! My name is Jake and I live in the DC area, or close enough to it that I consider myself from that area. I've been into Star Wars since I was a kid when they rereleased the original trilogy in theatres. I've completely worn out my 1997 Special Edition Boxset, and I'm starting the whole saga on DVD. Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Naah, it's like one of those myths...like we all live close enough that to explain to outsiders it is ridiculous, so we just come to convince ourselves of it was well .

 

My brother in law lives in DC. Does that count?

 

And I have a cousin who lives in DC too.

 

I live near Philly, that was the original Nation's Capital. Does that count for anything!?!

I'm 3 miles from DC. And across the street from Arlington, which used to be part of DC. I win!

 

Yeah...I used to live close to there...now I live about 40 minutes away.

 

In my opinion being closer to DC is hardly a prize

 

Yeah haha I guess it depends on your outlook. Like we lived in a nice area of Arlington, which is what most people in the country think of when they think DC. They think the White House, Capital, etc. They don't really think about the crime and such.
