That's the list as the folks at BRAVO saw it. I'm curious who you'd rank in a TOP 10 list of all time?

There's alot a great characters/shows that didn't even make it into the top 50?

I'd have to put KITT from Knight Rider on there, as well as MacGuyver and Pee-Wee Herman.

However, Best Television Character Ever: Eric Cartman from South Park.

The Bravo list missed a LOT of characters that deserved to be included and rated very high. They seemed to lean a little too much toward current T.V. shows. I am not sure that Carrie Bradshaw, Tony Soprano, Monk, and the Barone Family will be remebered 15-20 years from now. But characters like Gilligan, the Beverly Hillibillies, the Golden Girls, and Fred Flinstone have stood the test of time but were left off the list entirely. The omission of these memorable characters puts the whole list in question. At least they got the top 5 correct. You really can't argue with their choices for the top 5.

Most of these types of ranking lists don't give enough credit to older shows/characters/music, and place too much credit on stuff that in 4-5 years will be long forgotten for the "next big thing"

Fred Flinstone...hadn't really thought of him (good pick)

Good old Freddy is a classic character. The Flinstones Season 2 comes out on DVD December 7. I can't wait :) !!!!!!
