Abq Breast Cancer Walk

I'd been meaning to do this and hadn't gotten around to it, but I want to let you know that Lor's post DID get me off the couch! (well, OK, it took three friends and a couple of neighbors to get me up, but still...)

Lor keeps telling what a Hutt I am, it's a wonder I can I even squeeze into that trooper armor.

Well, it worked, Brother... it worked.

And, Lor, I just read the Mos Alba page, and I'm glad that your Mom was so lucky. Thanks for sharing.

I just wanted to point out that sometimes people misinterpret his sarcasm and just wanted to alert people to what it was.

But the point is:

DONATE.

Or even better, DONATE and WALK!


Even though I won't be here, I still plan on signing up or donating. I did manage to raise a few dollars last year and hope to get something similar going.

 

well we need one more person to sign up to meet our goal for walkers and about 700 bucks to make the 800 I put as our goal in cash.

 

holy macaroni! I just checked the top fundraisers and one lady has raised almost 7 grand on her own! Talk about WOW!

Anyways, I just found out I can't just donate 5 bucks to each of you so I did a general donation of 20.00 to the team and I will add 10 bucks for each 2 new people that join.

 

I should be able to go, I have to check.

 

I think I need to come work where you work!

I am sure Yvonne and I will be there....since that other event is out of reach!

not that it's a race but I'm winning... bug your coworkers... use the email thing that they have built in to beg for the money... I sent out like about nine emails and two people donated... so it's the shotgun effect...

I will be collecting money for the walk at the next meeting. YOu can donate to one particular person or to the team in whole. Any little bit helps...

 

I think everyone should donate to me because I'm a heavy duty smoker and you know your going to get your moneys worth having me walk 5 miles

hey, sorry I haven't been able to post, weekend off and absolutly no interest at all to log onto the internet.

Not enough intreasts in the shirts. I am gonna bug Lor and see if he can get some shirts made for us thru the store. I will PM everyone when they are and if they get done.

 

so far we have raised 231 bucks but are still 569 away from our goal of 800

 

when's the cutoff for donations?
