There was a shot of Durge near the end there.

It looked very similar to the Chapter 9 shot where he bursts through the window on his jetpack - in fact, I thought it was the same shot.

Regardless of that, is that supposed to mean Durge will be back at some point for Chapters 11-20?

I hope not. Unless we FINALLY get to see Obi-Wan deal with him for once and for all.

I just checked, it looks the same shot to me.

    Great catch, Frank Palpatine.

Barris Offee & Luminara look incredible in action....I have a vague feeling that Mace may be a dissapointment, but I really hope I'm wrong.

It looks like Obiwan witnesses some of the Anakin/Assaj dogfight, and Yoda looked great in the beginning.

I think I like these clone wars cartoons better than AOTC, (atleast the first half of ATOC).

Definatly the same shot, but just haveing it in the montage leads me to believe he'll be back.

The Taratakovsky chat seems to disagree. He said that Durge is defeated at the end of the first arc, *Clone Wars spoilers*Asajj is defeated by Anakin at the end of the second arc, so each character gets to defeat a villian..

If you look at Padme's full snow suit (freezeframe as she yanks 3PO behind the snowy bank) it bears a striking resemblance to Leia's outfit at the start of ANH (white hood, robes, full length dress), just with the addition of the head covering bonnet.

    I like it!

JP, I have to disagree with you on Padmé's costume. On my screen it definetly looks more like pants than a full white dress. I'd say that it's the Geonosian battle remade for a colder climate.

Yeah. I noticed that last night. More like a full length Geonosis suit, with fur cuffs. But with the hood and flowing cape, it still reminds me of Leia's ANH costume.

Probably just because they are both white, but y'know...

Padme's snow outfit reminds me of Angela Lindvall's moon-suit in CQ.

The Taratakovsky chat seems to disagree. He said that Durge is defeated at the end of the first arc, *Clone Wars spoilers*

Leland Chee was asked on the OS boards "Can you confirm whether or not Durge is still alive after the events in CW ch.9?"

    "No I can't."

I think that about says it all. There's a possibility.

There's an almost sure possibility that he is alive, I never said he is dead. But he will not be back in the cartoons.

I agree. Odd though that he was put in this preview.

No more so than the Red ARC Trooper getting blown back after using his tazer...which was also put in the preview.

Yeah, a lot of stuff that was in Ep 1-10 were put in the preview. I think they even put the Ventress from her debut episode.

I really like this preview... it looks awesome! I'm especially looking forward to the bits with Luminara and Barriss, they ought to be cool. :)

    "Padme'a voice should be interesting."

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading somewhere that the woman who did the voice of Daphne from Scooby Doo is also voicing Padme.

Just looking at the official site ive noticed a few things...

Looking at the vehicles for the Seperatists i notice a Siesmic Tank. Also the Republic has Padmes ship as well as Captain Typho, so maybe we'll see these 3 charactors and Vehicles in Season 1.5...

But yea, I might be wrong...

are the clone war cartoons supposed to span the entire gap between movies or no? i ask because i'm wondering whether the characters will change to match how they will look in ep3 (mainly obi-wan's and anakin's haircuts and such). does anyone know?
