    An interesting twist that a friend of mine uses is Sienar Fleet Sys. with Palpy's Shield & Sword, Interceptors, and Cannons. Is this something that you might be interested in? If so I can found out how many TIE-related cards his deck takes and pass that info along to you. Oh, and my friend is HIGHLY favored to at least go to the final confrontation at states so he knows what he's doing ;-) As a matter a fact he slapped me around with his deck today at my tourny.

    I once had a Hunt Down deck that used Interceptors and the like. I started with Imperial Arrest Order, Mobilization Points and You Cannot Hide Forever. Mob Points grabs either the Executor or Wakeelmui, depending on my starting hand, and YCHF gets Flagship Ops.

    Several Imperial Commands will help get Piett out, and he can pull Gherant (to get the remaining 2 Executor sites) or Merrejk (to pull my systems). Once I get Flagship Ops set up, I get Sienar Fleet Systems, and I proceed to deploy my TIEs anywhere and everywhere. They're cheap, high destiny, reduce the cost of Imp capital ships. I especially like how the Emperor's squadrons are destiny 8 when Flagship Ops is out. :)

    Chiraneau + several high-drain systems helps ensure that I'm dealing enough damage to my opponent. Plus, Visage of the Emperor always helps, too. I use 4 Vaders to keep my Objective flipped, and I back him up with Tarkin, Mara and Xizor.

    I haven't played this deck in a long time, but I feel it can still do good.
