What had ceased to be Vader and was now Anakin Skywalker ? did send up a plea to the Force ? the Living Force ? that in those final moments on the Death Star II, whilst Palpatine had poured the dark power from within his withering flesh, that Luke would continue the proud name of his mother, and [i]deliver us from evil[/i].

Paralysed, being dragged to the side of the shuttle, Anakin cried silently, for the first time in twenty years, and tears flowed down his face, and he let the grief he felt finally erupt in a bursting geyser of forgiveness.

Nice songfic!!I had always imagined this song to be a song that Obi would sing after ROTS, praying for Anakin's redemption, but this worked too. Anakin was thinking about his sons future, a fatherly thing that he has never done before.

 

That was very poignant and well done.

Bravo!
