I got home from work to discover my TiVo recorded the 1st new Venture Bros. of the new season last night. It was everything I hoped for. Best cartoon show on television. Period.

 

uh both. Also VB is cool.

Illegeal Fireworks are banned in all areas of Southern California.

Did they say which ones are illegal and which ones aren't? Or was it just "If it's not sold at a fireworks stand, it's illegal" cause even that varies from city to city. The news does have a tendency to state the obvious though.

ROFLMJAO!!!!! For some reason, that statement just hit me as one of the funniest things ever... Love it!!!

 

They were just talking about illegeal fireworks in general. The State has a list of banned fireworks for indivudals (naturally, pyrotechnic companies and stuff can get whatever they want) Theres apparently little stickers on the packages saying that they're legal for CA residents.
As for local laws - I dont think an LA news station that goes from Ventura and Santa Barbera to southern Orange County is going to account for each indivudal cities law. Like, all the cities around here, the closet legal thing to fire works are matches, and those popper things. But, 45 min away in Huntington, everything that the State says is legal is fine (I think?)

But yeah. The news people usually don't notice redundency either.

 

I sure hope you're talking about World Cup or something, which I don't follow.

If you're talking about the country in general, then I take great offense to that, being Italian.

i didnt know that italy employs actors as freakin soccer players!!! so freakin lame and it should be germany and portugal !!! and it also was good for italy that they pulled thier two yellow carded players .... Camaronesi only got a yellow for the foul he comitted....gah! now germany's record is ruined in Dortmund....tis a sad day indeed

 

Oh look, France beat Portugal.

So its a France v Italy final, and a Germany v Portugal 3rd place match.

I will agree, I would prefer a Germany v Portugal final though , even with Ronaldo's Olympic Diving preformance.

okay, first of all, that is disgusting, second of all, does he have grey hair? The clones were created in EP2 right, then 3 years to EP3, then 19 years to A New Hope, the what, 5 years to Return of the Jedi? so about 27 years, plus the fact that they accelrate twice as fast as normal humans do. Does the AT-AT have a hancicap placard?
