We do know what luke dose after rotj he starts to rebuild the jedi order, if you do not belive me then just take a look at all the book's and the star wars games;

One game is called jedi knight:jedi outcast, the other is called jedi knight:jedi acadmey both games link well with the films and show luke as a jedi master.

 

Not that this changes anything...

 

I have, essentially, read all of the EU and played most of the Kyle Katarn games, however, the debate was surrounding upon the movies by themselves without any other sources for explanation.

Forgive me if this has been asked Im new to this. What exactly does "bringing the force back into balance" mean. (when you talk about the prochecy of the chosen one).

 

I think it means that Anakin's son, would ultimately lead a new order of Jedi and destroy the empire which would then lead to the destruction of the Sith Order .
