Who's going and who fancies a meet up?
I'll be there Saturday for sure, and maybe Friday!
It's possible for me, I guess, unless I get raped by coursework.
OO where!!!!? I can get somewhere to stay in Bristol!!
Tis right next to Bristol Temple Meads station, very handy
Not sure I can attend the weekend, but should make the Friday.
Just right for the 54/55 then .
I should be there. Is there any point to me taking my Space Marine Armour with me?
Well last year there were a few costumers wandering around, and they let anyone in costume get in free Not sure if they're doing the same this year though!
Anyone got their phone number?
All info here
Thank you LP. Do you reckon I should just call the producer?
Very, very tempting. I may be there if my rota favours me, which I don't think it will but I'll give it a go.
I'd say if you wanna dress up in costume, just turn up in costume!
Discovering events like this sort of thing is what lurking is all about, I'll probably go to this seeing as my sister lives right by where it's being held
Maybe knock up a Rorschach costume and get Dave Gibbons to sign my face
I'm just worried that they won't want a Space Marine there.
That's what it looks like.
ooh kewl costume!!
I emailed David Morris and am awaiting a reply.
Not likely, I'm afraid. Sorry guys.
Student budget permitting, I might go. Always wanted to see Bristol.
Ok so who's meeting what where and when?
And Yes I'm Coming as a Space Marine and no, costumers have to pay this year.
I'll be there Saturday morning! Time to be confirmed when I find out for sure what time the railway engineering works start! May have to take a slight detour via Salisbury :/
I'll be getting to Bristol about 9:30 on Saturday if my train is on time
Who else wants to meet up then?
I can live with that although I have yet to get my ticket, gahhh!
EDIT: Rats! Advance tickets are gone! I'm still coming! Also where do I need to go to?
I can hopefully meet folks at the station. I mis-spent part of my youth in Bristol, so I know where a few places are. I'll be in my armour though.
I'll be there on Friday.
And I can maybe provide somewhere to stay for the Saturday night.
The comic thingy is right next to Bristol temple meads station, tis very handy
I think they have changing space inside if you wanna change into costume when you get there, you might roast in the heat waiting to get in
and roast in the heat we did.
it was a great weekend,though... for those in attendance, and i got to meet and hang out in the bar with dave gibbons, and all manner of other comic book types.
thanks to the lovely ladies for saying hi,you know who you are.
if anyones going to attend birmingham in october, see you there!
