Broken Allegiance audio commentary enquiry

Hi all.

As most of you know I am in the process of putting together the BA dvd.

One thing which is due to occurr in the next few weeks is the recording of two audio commentary tracks for the film.

On each commentary track I plan on having 3 people speaking about the film.

One track will be with cast, and the other will be with crew.

I of course as director will be one of the 3 people on the crew side doing audio commentary, but I would be interested to know which other two crew members of BA fans think would be interesting to hear from.

Cameron Smith - Visual Effects Artist
Stephen Rees - Co-Editor
John Hall - Director of Photography

Likewise I need to choose 3 actors to do audio commentary.

I think it goes without saying that almost everyone would want Niobe in there, but what about the other 2?

Randall Berger - Admiral Okins

Please reply with your opinions.

 

For actors, I'd say Paul and Hadrian, and for crew Sudheera and John.

 

Yeah, Paul and Hadrien for sure.

And for the crew, I'd like to hear from Rich Johnson on the composing side, but I also want a visual effects guy, so, pick the one that did more work (or more interesting work ), and put him on.

 

I wouldn't mind hearing from Franke when you talk about the fight scenes.

 

For the actors, I say Paul H. and Hadrian and for crew, Sudheera and H. Gibbens.

 

Crew
H. Gibbens and/or Cameron Smith is mandatory, these guys were the stongest part of your film
Frankie Chan would be cool since he was the artist and would therefore have had good ideas about the entire film
I would not be so interested in having your fight coordinator do the commentary, althogh he seems to be knowledgable in swordsmanship his work on BA was not all that great
Cast
Hadrian Jonathan for Sure!
The rest are up to your choice

You MUST have Hadrian Jonathan and H. Gibbens and/or Cameron Smith, it just wouldn't be as interesting without them!

Translation:

The only good part of your film was the visual effects

 

For Crew, I reckon one of the visual artists, whichever you want, and Rich Johnson. It would be very interesting to hear how he went about sorting the music cues and how he came up with the themes.

For Cast, I think Paul and Hadrien, completing the primary trio for the film.

Of course, this is just my little old opinion.

With all due respect, Eagle, you're exagerating a bit there. WD only said that the Visual Effects were "the strongest part of the film"... which is, of course, in HIS opinion.
He never said they were the only good thing about the movie.

It's like the problems of racism, intolerance and such nowadays. By willing to fight these, people often see them everywhere, but they're not. See my point ?

EDIT : as for me... So hard to choose when you're offering us a real feast. I'd like to hear about everything, but that's assuming I'd get my hands on a copy of this DVD. How exactly will I be able to do that ?
Alright, just to give it a shot, I'd say :
- Crew ; Stephen Rees , Sudheera Kuruppu. To give a voice to people we haven't heard in any of the BTS doco (if memory serves).
- Cast ; Paul Hooper, Hadrian Jonathan.
