I havent decided if I'm stoked about football, yet....give me a few.

    yep. sorta. we'll see.

Seriously, I learned a lot about football last season...more than I cared to at times. I am curious to see if my new found knowledge has survived the cold and bitter months of winter. I'm looking forward to this season.

did i mention that i like football?

some girl at the museum today had a Titans hat on...poor girl didn't even know who they where...*shame, shame*

i think i could wear a Titans shirt/sweatshirt everyday for two weeks and still not repeat wearing one. :) and three or four hats, not to mention the rain poncho i got for the game...and my scrunies and my socks...and i think that is it. (sound like bubba in forest gump. ha ha) oh wait i forgot i have a bad call brick so when the ref makes a bad call i can throw it at the TV (it's foam-that was a gift as well)
oh and the titans emblems on my car and the poster i got as a going away present when i moved out here...and NOT including direct TV so i can now TIVO the games. :)

did i mention i like football. ha ha ha

ok i am tired and when i am tired i ramble...blah...bye

I found out that Dove Valley is in Parker. So it isnt even close to Greeley. I think that I am going to try to make one of their practacies. That would be cool.

Well, Dove Valley is close to Parker, but not actually in it. Dove Valley is actually located in the city of Centennial. It's about 6-blocks from my office, and I get the pleasure of driving past it everyday. They just added a HUGE new building to it last month.

Every now and then, I pass Mike Shanahan while he's out for an afternoon run.

    thanks SS.

i need to learn how to do that...
all of the single game tickets are sold out...

so that is...the fifth year (i think) in a row that the Titans have sold out...since they have only been around that long...that is pretty cool!

    BTW-welcome home

w00t!! Got may fantasy team for the shop now!

I'm coming in with a team somebody played with last year who isn't in the league this year and we get to keep 2 players (not in the same position), dump the rest, and then go with the draft.

    Here's the roster I enherited:

    Duce Staley RB - PIT
    Lamar Gordon RB - STL
    Jeff Wilkins PK - STL
    Jabar Gaffney WR - HOU
    Keenan McCardell WR - TB
    Eddie Kennison WR - KC
    Reggie Wayne WR - IND
    Trent Green QB - KC
    Troy Hambrick RB - DAL
    Darrell Jackson WR - SEA
    Chris Chambers WR - MIA
    Todd Heap TE - BAL
    Aaron Brooks QB - NO
    Plaxico Burress WR - PIT
    Shaun Alexander RB - SEA
    Edgerrin James RB - IND
    and Indy and TB's defenses

I plan on keeping Trent Green and Shaun Alexander for my keepers and starting out the draft with a WR (unless I get an early pick in which case I might get another RB). Might try to pick up KC's defense if it's up for grabs for one of my D's and just play them on games I think Dante has the best chance of running one back, lol. If I can make a good pre-draft trade with Alexander and James for a slightly better RB, I might do that and use him for a keeper (really will depend on where I'm at in the draft).

lol, you don't read so good do ya? ;)

I didn't pick anyone who is currently on the team. I'm taking over somebody's team from last year and I'm going with what I got. I would hope I'd have a better team than that if I were the one who was in charge of the draft and trades...

lol, I'm sure that was supposed to be some big slam on the Chiefs...but I already know that KC's WRs suck. Kennison is their highest rank receiver at 66...

But Trent Green is ranked #8 in QB's...and their passing game was pretty kickass last year, even with crappy receivers...so...who cares? lol

Only 3 people I would really pick from KC for my fantasy team are Holmes, Green, and Gonzalez anyway...but that's 1 person in each of 3 of the 4 main offensive positions...not bad, eh? Denver isn't looking quite as good :p ;) KC has 3 guys in the top ten, two of which are #1 in their position. Denver has 1 in the top ten with Byron Chamberlain...who IS #10 (in the same category Tony G is #1). And before you drop the D bomb...KC's defense is ranked higher too ;)

How in the heck can KC's D be ranked higher. I mean look at what the Broncos did in the off season. KC wont win the West this year. I think that they are over ranked again. But we will see on September 12th, when the Broncos kick there butts.

nah, I'm just trying to refuel the fire for this season. [face_mischief]

And don't be so proud of your D's fantasy ranking. The ability to make turnovers from time to time is insignificant next to Denver's talent and consistancy. ;)

hehe, yeah, I have no delusions about KC's defense aside from their takeaways and special teams...but that's enough to make points for fantasy...

and bfett, we're talking about fantasy rankings, which are based mostly on the fantasy points they put up last year.

yeah, that's why I plan on starting out the draft with a receiver pick... from what I've seen in the league, the QB's and RB's are the big scorer's though, and I already have a good scoring QB and RB, so I'll go for a good Receiver first.
