Those are quite heavy actually but they aren't bad....too heavy for my tastes though.

There are several options out there, I would look into them all. You may like this buckle, I just found them overly heavy for a PT Jedi Belt. The actual buckle, teh ones saberbelt.com, has are light and accurate.

I have to agree with Justin - those are heavy buckles - but they are also very well made and look pretty good on the belts.

Another option you may not have considered is www.tandyleather.com - that have some different stuff that might work for different buckles. Another company that I have dealt with is ITW Nexus - www.plastic-buckles.com - they have some different side release buckle but most of them are black. I have used 2 of their buckles quite a bit actually - contoured series buckle is the only one I can find on the site but here is a pic of the other one that I have used
Hope this helps you with a few options :)

I was kind of thinking of something along the line of what Eeth Koth has on his belt. but it's hard to see.

Another suggestion is to go to various second hand store and look there.

You can usually find a neat variey of buckles on old belts, purses and shoes. Use your imagination.

I found some shoe buckles that could work nicely, but the web site was a manufactures listing out of china, any ideas in the states?

It's a little hit and miss, but I found a couple nice, cheap, unusual buckles at the Goodwill for my Jedi costumes. You have to dig through a lot of junk, but there is a lot of variety. For one, I used the whole belt; for the other, I took the buckle and attached it to a different belt.

Anaking's buckle is different...from most other jedi's belt buckles at least...
