Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra John Williams Concert - Nov 26th

MadKid just checked his schedule and... looks like I'm in. Away games for both the Amerks and the RazorSharks the night of the 26th! Still, to avoid multiple PADV Anakins, I might do a quick work-up on either Farmboy Luke or ROTJ Luke, as that would be just as easy, methinks (and it just hit me that we've no Luke in our ranks, with the possible exception of people mistaking Nevets evolving Jedi garb as Luke). So put me down as definite for Saturday, but costume TBD from the three...

Yes, we have two Chewbaccas in The Rebellion now.

BobaChris let me know if you think that would be a problem and maybe KnightShade can wear an alternate costume. Or if we can keep the two Chewbaccas in different locations maybe it won't get too confusing. We might be able to convince him to do Darth Maul since the Duel of the Fates will be played. But this is your event and I'll let you make the call - especially since I'm biased.

I think I might go with the RFT myself since they'll be playing the Throne Room song. I don't think the song that goes with my Padme dress will even be played nor will there be an overly appropriate song for my Jedi costume.

I also do a pretty awsome darth maul (go figure me and darren do the same 2 costumes) Im gonna go as Darth Maul to this event, that way theres no wookie confusion, plus theyre playing duel of the fates, and there really arent any other ep 1 costumes. Plus ill get to bust out the red contacts, which is always fun.

I'm pondering this. It depends on several factors, gas money being the first and foremost.

But I also have a visitor coming from the city so I'm not sure the time frame there.

I would comment that I have seen far better FX contacts for Maul - but they are expensive.


Do you do use makeup or a mask?
If Makeup - what do you use for horns?

What type of Lightsaber? Stunt, EL, Plasma, other?

After the response I got as ANH classic white Leia at Astronomicon on Saturday, I should be scared of wearing this costume for the concert. Who knew that Leia was such a fantasy for so many boys (now men?)?!? I would have thought Mara's leather outfit would get more attention. Oh well, at least my hair should match my buns better since Sunday's color job didn't come out very red.
