our bookstore here in town i throwing a party with the coffeshop nextdoor. Theres gonna be food and games and stuff like that i guess, then the book will go on sale at midnight. I'm just gonna go long nough to get the book prolly, b/c its my night off and i will prolly be out with my friends.

 

I think I've conned my girlfriend into going with me. Nothing better than waiting for a book to go on sale while surrounded by a lot of grumpy children and pushy parents!

Wow, that was an awesome thunderstorm Sunday night

But it's really sad all the damage that was done in other communities

 

that storm was not awesome. It knocked out my power for almost **12** hours. I coudln't even read OOTP by flashlight, and cause the power was out, my cordless phone lost power in the middle of a conversation with a friend.

I HATE thunderstorms.

 

That thunderstorm was pretty neat, but it is too bad about your power outage, Liz. My girlfriend was without power for a few hours too.

It's also sad that people died.

I love thunderstorms so much! Their power is amazing, but I also find them peaceful And I was glad when the power went out b/c then all the outside lights went off and I could see the lightning better

Sorry you were without for so long Liz. 12 hours is a bit much... we only lost it for about 2.

Hello! I just discovered this board. Do you guys form meetings or conventions in the Lincoln/Omaha area? If so I would love to help as my brother and I are both in Lincoln and love Star Wars.

We have meetings in Lincoln, but do to a lack of organization/spare time we haven't had them very often.
