Jack, FL Burgers of the Force?

I know that Labor Day weekend is this weekend (at least I think that's why everyone's going to the lakehouse) so I was thinking...

I know we have these monthly meetings, and that's good! But what about a cookout? Like, all of us meet at some poor schmuck's designated housing and we all relax the izzle and cook sustinance on the grizzle?

What do you think? I nominate my house, because I can and it's big.

 

We have been wanting to have some get-togethers like that. Just getting everyone organized and planning it.

And this weekend is Dragon-Con so that throws a wrench into the works.

How about in a couple weeks time?

 

I'd be positively delighted! Now that I'm back from New York and Virginia and no more movies are scheduled in the forseable future, I'm all up for anything. I've been going through costume withdrawls and I need a new excuse to dawn the armor once again

 

Sounds like a plan man. you know there is 2 star wars cookbooks out there (wookie cookies, and darth malts). It would be fun to bring dishes from the book.

 

Yes...I have saw the cookbook too...I don't actually have it, but some of the dishes looked really good. I can't come labor day, we are going to be in Valdosta, (Wild Adventures). But, if ya'll decided to plan at another time I may be able to come.

Well me and my sister will probably go to the cookout i know id love to meet the rest of you guys.

 

How about picking a date that works for you (since you are hosting it) and then posting it so that we can get some consensus. Maybe we can hold the next meeting at the same time.

11:30 is fine here. Guess we need someone to come along to break the tie on what day. If someone doesn't soon our date will have to be Oct 1st as well. Moe's makes the schedule in advance and will be making the one for the 24th any day now.

I have to check my schedule, but I 'll do my best to go, My son has a baseball game usually on saturdays, hopefully that day the game will get played on the am. Crossing my fingers.
