Burnout: Legends car question...

Okay so I just picked up Burnout: Legends for my PSP the other day... I played Burnout 3 like crazy, and I'm having a blast with this game, but I have to ask- is there really any difference in the cars? I mean, they feel like they handle differently, but it doesn't list their speed or weight like it did in the console game. Does the list just get better as you go further down, or how does that work? Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
