Wash, DC Busch Gardens - October 18th, 11am; Meet at the Main Gate!!!

Official word...? I dunno. I hate to keep pushing it back, but if not many people can go then it seems dumb to keep it scheduled for this weekend. I can't decide right now. Maybe you all should give me your opinions and try to sway me.

 

well Valerie, I think you should go. you know me, I'm not a roller coaster fanatic like you. you'll have a lot of fun. 4 people are better than two.

It isn't fair that some of us (myself included) can't commit.

 

Well my whole reason for wanting to go in the first place was to get a big group together to go; that's the best part. I can go there myself anytime to ride the coasters.

 

I say you go for it this weekend. As we have all seen, we all have lives and you will never find a great weekend for everyone. So to quote Rocky, "Go for it."

 

yeah i understand that you want a big group. well, we could push it back to July if you want. maybe more people will be available then. maybe the second week?

 

Except that the second weekend in July is Shore Leave, isn't it?

maybe the 3rd week? or maybe you guys should just go this weekend.

 

I postponed my Cleveland trip to the same weekend as Shore Leave, so that works out good I guess. The rest of July is open for me (so far).

Can more people make it to BG on July 19th? If so, maybe we should shoot for that day. If not, we proceed this weekend.

 

I have no idea what I'm doing in July except Shore Leave, so I couldn't say if I can make it or not that day. It's scheduling madness in the Martin/Byrer househould, I tell you. Madness.

 

I will go when ever everyone wants to go.I would really like to go in a big group. Thank of all the fun.running around talking SW stuff, having special moments.. pictures! doing the white water rapids together! Yeah what a rush! We could even plan it where when we go we could all have a Galactic Senate shirt on you know a really nerdy/ corney/ wonderful sort of thing. It would even be fun to make it a weekend thing. Any way if the tickets are good all season then i am for trying to get it so as many of us as possible can go. i do not mind hot summer days.I will be willing to go this weekend I just need to know by thursday.

 

uh, I don't have anything planned for July 19th as of yet.

 

Only one problem for me:
July 19th is too close to July 13th, when I'm going to King's Dominion. I can't afford to do 2 amusement park trips in one month.

 

I may stillbe on the roadon the 19th but if i am back then the 19th is OK with me.On the 13th i will be at Six Flags in Denver but I don't mind two amusement parks in one month!

 

Well, if everyone can make a point to schedule July 19th for Busch Gardens, it sounds like we could possibly have a bigger group then.

Val its your call. Do you want to brave the heat and humidity so you can ride Alpengeist all day?

Well I spoke too soon earlier this week, because now the weather for this weekend is looking like solid rain again. So the only ride we'd be on is the Noah's Ark ride!

Yes Liz, July 19th is the date for our next, and possibly last, attempt at going to Busch Gardens. So mark it on your calendar now, so that nothing will come up to interfere with it.

eh, I'll go if I feel like it, Jeff. I hate long lines and hot weather. so it depends on my mood.
