Monkey knife fights! Cool! Can I go?
Dude, forget BG. I'm goin' to Ric's house.
You all are a bunch of over-grown, scruffy-looking, half-witted, nerf herders...
Who's scruffy lookin'? ?
And July 19th is the new date for Judgement Day!
You know, it was originally supposed to occur in August, 1997... but then that stupid Sarah Conner chick had to go and muck up the timestream. So, it had to be postponed a little!
I'm scruffy lookin', I admit it. But monkey knife fights, man!! Where are your priorities?
Can't trust that Sarah Conner.
Okay, we've put off the Busch Gardens trip to the September/October timeframe. Actually it sounds like it will be more like October than September, since we have Dragon Con, Ren Fest, and our great picnic in September.
So lets hear some serious discussion on dates. Discussions about monkey knife fights are not going to help us organize this event.
They will if there's a day when monkey knife fights are featured.
Seriously, I don't have any booked weekends in October that I know of. Except Columbus Day weekend. Whenever that is.
Okay, every holiday in October!
Yom Kippur: begins Sundown on Oct. 5th
Columbus Day: Oct. 13th
National Boss Day: Oct. 16th
United Nations Day: Oct. 24th
Ramadan begins/Daylight Savings ends: Oct. 26th
Halloween: Oct. 31st
All Saints Day: Nov. 1st
Dia del Muerta (Day of the Dead): Nov. 2nd
Given that useless information, there are no holidays Saturday Oct. 18th. How's that for a date???
The Saturdays in October that I am available are the 4th and the 18th. So the 18th works for me.
Shall we make the 18th our final date then?
One gets a feeling that Jeff really wants to go to Busch Gardens.
When you are there go to the Beer School in the Ireland section, it is great. You learn a little and get free samples. Also, go into the 4-D ride Cork Screw hill. Also, the R.L Stine's Haunted Lighthouse 4-D show is a lot of fun too.
Edit: Monkey Knife Fights Rule!!!!!
Monkey knife fights do not concern me, Ric.
EDIT: Jeff has never been to Busch Gardens. And furthermore, Jeff is under a lot of stress as of late and needs the break from the real world, or he could go postal and shoot everyone.
Get this man to Busch Gardens fast!!!
yes it sounds like he needs to go there! now!
I know what you mean Mutt. I wish I could get away from reality for awhile too.
18th sounds great to me, figuring thats my birthday so ill proberly take it off anyway.
cool! the more people, the better!
I'm free that day too, count me in if David is going
Fine. I hereby declare by the power vested in me... Oh forget it. We go on the 18th. And we can properly celebrate David's birthday at Das Festhaus.
The 18th it is. I am giving it my official Event Coordinator Stamp of Approval. Mainly by writing it on my calendar. Ta da!!
Valerie, if you send me the info, I'll put stuff on the website calendar.
Ah yes! Thanks for reminding me about that. I'll PM you the info.

Bumping this up as a reminder:
The Busch Gardens trip is scheduled for Ocotber 18th, quite probably our last attempt for this season. So far, I have the following people as confirmed attendees:
Anyone else I need to add to the list?
