On the episode I soundtrack, during the track called "Qui-Gon's Noble End", there's a part where there's no music, just whispering (in the movie it's when Qui'Gon and Darth Maul have their final battle). The words sound like "Bushka tatmah, ko ratamah". I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what these words mean. thanks.

I'll look into it, i know that the lyrics to Duel of the Fates mean something when translated, but i have to look it up.

It's interesting to note that there is an alternate version of that cue on the Ultimate Edition of The Phantom Menace.

That sounds somewhat like what one of the announcers at the pod-race says.

Yes, except that's just for Duel of the Fates, not the one I'm looking for.

Actually, we have those translations in the Forum FAQ/Index. :)

None of the online Sanskrit dictionaries I consulted had anything for "bushka" or "tatmah".

Hmmm, translation sight says Celtic (generally referring to Scots & Irish), but language is Sanscrit. Granted, the Celts can be traced back to India, but isn't this something of an incongruity?

I don't know if that's what it actually is, it's just what it sounded like to me.
