Well, thanks Eric - I had a great time. This was my first year attending FilmCon, and I'll definately be coming back next year. It was nice seeing the couple of you that I remembered (Mr. Kenosha here has only attended one collector's meeting with the club -- too long of a drive to do stuff all the time)...

Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

BTW - I'll be putting up my pictures from FilmCon on my website soon. I'll post again once I do, if anyone is interested in looking at them...

That right there was a classic moment... I will remember the answer for the rest of my life, and the rounds of laughter it provided for the rest of the first day's trivia portion...

Thanks again to Eric for all of his work, the Mad Ison & Milwookie FF's for a great dinner, and the gang in the MNFF & the MW Garrison! I really enjoyed my time there and it will help me to make it through the next couple months of work torture.

Many thanks to Emperor Eric for a good time at the con. The spousal unit and I will definately be returning next year. When will we know the total amount the charity got?

 

I had a good time as well, though I didn't take any pictures. It seemed that the last places I would expect to be taking pictures were the places I was most likely to need my camera.

Anyway, I'm off to draw up a roster for my army.

Now I'm really bummed I missed the con. You guys sound like you had a blast. There's NO WAY I'm missing it next year. Stupid Dad being in the stupid hospital. GRRRR!!

 

It was certainly unique, well as much of it as I saw. I was stuck in my hotel room most of the time working on my costume because I didn't have it done before we got there. Don't blame your father, I'm sure he didn't want to be in the hospital either.

 

Anyone else have pics back yet? I cant wait to see those costume contest pics

I had a great time and was very happy to help Eric out on Friday with punching badges, attaching the lanyards and doing registration. Enjoyed wearing my Sith outfit for the first time! Thank you, Beret!

Hope everyone who came to our lightsaber class had a good time. It was overcrowded but we just couldn't turn people away...it was twice as many people who registered, I think! I wish we could have given more individual attention but, if we do it again next year, I guarantee the class will be smaller so I can spend time with everyone.

I've already preregistered for next year!

 

Dang. I never wanted to be a military wife....
