    R2 is the saga's biggest hero. I love a badass droid.

    3PO definitely has his funny moments, especially in his interactions with Han.

    But he also has a lot of moments in which he needs to STFU.

    Ah! Reminds me of the saying - rivals become friends - under extreme circumstances - and particularly against a common ENEMY ... I mean look at Ryu/Ken, Superman/Batman, Godzilla and his fellow Kaiju allies and friends, Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa to name a few ...

    Since "both" is an option I love their pairing, which is really remarkable since one of them only beeps. but if I had to chose, it'd be Artoo.

    I voted C-3P0 because I'm basically him. (only I'm human and far, far worse when it comes to languages :p)

    But I absolutely agree that they're at their best together :)

    They are like an old comedy team. You really cant have Hardy without Laurel or Costello without Abbott. Or Moe without Larry & Curly. (or Shemp. [face_batting])

    But I suppose I sympathize with 3PO, being that I'm probably most like him than any other SW character!
