The Gen-Con com. has finally started the web-sit for C-III. The passes for the event go on sale on their web-site Monday the 27th starting at noon. The price for the full four days is $95. For a four day con. that is a really good price. World-cons can cost up to $200 for five day. After you get your pass they will be giving a code for the hotel discounts. If you join the fan-club you get early admission. I'm just glad they finally got the information out. See every one tonight at Paulie's.

    Hey Marlowe!

    For that matter...

    Hi Everybody!

Anyway, thanks a lot for the C-III information. I know we have one member in particular who will be very interested in that.

I take it that you've heard that the Spokane FanForce is now official? It finally happenned! And I barely had anything to with it. Go figure.

Still, WE'VE GOT OUR OWN FANFORCE!!!! :D

Now, if I can just get enough people organized in time for InCon next month.....

just a friendly reminder that the deadline for the application is Dec 9 - which means i'd need commitment by the 7th..

i posted this on the thread for the potential Pacific Region FF fan table at Celebration III:

the deadline for fan tables is the 9th of December, and i need the following from participating clubs: a contact name with contact info, and 2 references (with contact info).

if i don't hear anything by the 7th, then the table is a no-go!

    Wow! thanks paulie, pretty cool!
yeah, we should come up with something for our flyer at our January meeting (falls on jan 23rd, which happens to be the day after my bday *cough* cake *cough* some bring one *cough* LOL)
I will take the one I came up with for us to hand out before and spruce it up a bit and bring it to our next meeting, if anyone else has one they would like to submit, please bring it too. maybe we can take the best of all and combine into one

I am close to having the money for my airline tickets
Before I order them, I am curious when everyone else?s flights leave from Sea-Tac, what carrier and flight they are one and when they arrive in Indianapolis. I would like to try and arrive about the same time as other peeps I know so we can maybe share a cab to the hotel (the ones who are staying at or near the Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown)

I also be posted this to our private message board if you would rather answer there

Hey guys, I got an email from Mary Franklin. If you can volunteer, send me a PM and I'll give you further info. You get the cost of your badge reimbursed, you "may" be able to enter the convention early without standing in lines (depends what shift you are working), and may qualify for reduced hotel rates. C2 ventures also needs help with the autograph area, see the thread in the Star Wars Celebration forum for more information on that. Compensation for working in the autograph area will be free autographed signatures from the stars, plus you will get to meet them and hang out with them awhile.

    From Mary:

We have need of more dependable fan volunteers, both costumed and not, for Celebration III. Some time ago Tim Knapp, who is CCd in this email, was asked by us to cap the volunteer list, because we were afraid there were getting to be more volunteers than jobs. As the big party gets closer, however, we find we need more help!

I know that many of you will be busy at Celebration III leading your group efforts. However, we?d really appreciate it if you could ask within your clubs and regions for more volunteers. There could be some who wanted to get in on the list who were not able to, and some who would still like the chance to get their badge reimbursed.

Please work through Tim, who can add facilitate adding folks to the database. There is a time crunch. Celebration III is close!

Thanks so much. You are all extremely generous in your willingness to help us out, always.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

It was my pleasure to help take care of the booth. I got to meet some very nice people and discuss all things Star Wars. :)
It was also great meeting you jawajames. If there is a C4 or whatever it will be called, I will definately be volunteering again to help out as it was an enjoyable time for me.
    Thanks again!
