I'm so looking forward to the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV ART SHOW.

Well, the final round of CIV Artists has been released.

Sooooo, what is everbody's Top 5 favorite prints? Which ones are on your "must-have" list to purchase?

This is going to be one heck of a tough task to narrow them down.

 

I'll get the official one, and then anything with a Amidala/Padme image . Luckily there aren't that many, won't be a budget-breaker.

I certainly wish I could sping for ALL of the CIV prints, but the budget simply doesn't allow it.

Congrats are in order to all of the artists and their truly amazing prints. Excellent job done!

Top 5 favorite prints? Which ones are on my "must-have" list to purchase? They're all my favorite prints and on my "must-have" list. I want them all, but I don't know just how doable that is. What to do? What to do?

I'm going to be absolutely happy with the ones I'm able to get, it's just a matter of which ones/how many I will be able to get. I could easily spend $500-$600 on posters that first day.

The combination of the Art Show, the Autograph Hall, the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV store and the vendors . . . just . . . WOW!

WOW...So many to choose from so little MULA!!!

These are the Art Pieces I would love to have:

1. John Alvin - If There's a Bright Plane

2. Steve Anderson - The Dark Avenger

3. Terese Nielsen - Padme Art Piece, Unnamed

4. Tsuneo Sanda - Star Wars Saga


I REALLY LOVE the Sanda Art Piece, but unfortunately $130 is a bit of a stretch for me. Limited Funds SUCK!!!

 

Ooh, I think I have exactly 5 pieces I'd want to buy:

I put a lot of thought into whether or not I would do a Reserve List for my print. After mulling it over and over, I decided it would be a good idea to do so.

What I am planning is the List will be for the first 100 prints. #1 thru 100 will be available IN THE ORDER the reserve was received. If you order first, you get #1 and so on and so forth.

I also decided that I will give reservists an incentive. The print will be $30, BUT if you are one of the reservists, you will pay $25. The rules are:

1. If you reserve a print (or prints), I will need you to have your name as appears on your ID because your confirmation email will include which print number you will receive.

Example: If you are John Smith and you happen to tell everyone in a forum you got #1 and Joe Blow wanted #1, I want to make sure John Smith picks it up, not Joe who seemed shifty from the beginning. I didn't like his eyes I tell ya!

2. If you are having someone pick a print up for you (NON-Attendees) PLEASE include the name of the person picking the print up for you in the email.

3. All reserved prints must be picked up at my Art Show table by the closing of activities Friday, May 25. The exact time is unknown since the schedule has not yet been released. Any prints not picked up will be put back in stock and sold at the regular price on Saturday morning.

4. DO NOT SEND MONEY!!! This is VERY important. You (or your representative) will pay for the print(s) at the show.

13x19 litho for $25 and I might throw in a little something something like a random ewok sketch for you fanforce folks.

hey all; wanted to update with some information:

My print "The Princess" will measure 18 by 24 inches, and be $30. I will be taking "pre-orders"; the first 25 people to email me will get a free remarque of the character of their choice on thier print. I do request that folks pick up either the 24th or the 25th. I can be emailed at allison@justsayah.com

Adam Hughes' art nouveau Slave Leia print is due to the printer on the afternoon of the 9th; so I will have finished artwork to show that evening. It will measure somewhere in the ballpark of 17 by 39 inches, and be $75. After talking with the folks at Lucasfilm, we agreed there was a concern that Adam would sell out prior to the show's opening if we did pre-orders. So the print will only be available by coming to the table at the art show. See you all there!

 

I went over all the art pieces again tonight and I must say I like your offering more every time I look at it. It's fun.
