[C & P] X-Wing Pilots

Alrightie suckas, just like Kim said -- we're gonna try having a bunch of pilots ready for the whole doohickie they're having at the museum. Yeah, we're nuts.

I'll be posting reference material here.

Orange Flight Suits -- Becca's found a couple places that have them in stock, and I found a few places online that we can order from, too. They range between $30-40 depending on size.

Vests -- Reference material coming. There's a few people that can work on these. Material cost seemed minimal.

Lunchboxes -- I'm working on the molds and will be vaccing them hopefully before the weekend. I'm also going to gather everything we need to make complete kits.

Helmets -- Kim, Jeff, and I are working on that. I might just spike up my hair and not worry about making me one. Don't wanna mess with the doo, yo. LOL.

Misc. Bitz -- In the process of locating all of it.

I made one my freshmen year of highschool.
Rubies or don post, who ever had the license then.

a Used orgagne contruction work suite (one piece) and a vylon chest thing and a paint box.

not to bad, but i hated it cuz i knew it wasnt right. and the rubies helmet is huge.

aaa the memebories.. i still have that helmet somewhere.

 

I can pick up flight suits for whomever wants them but you have to let me know by thursday

 

Terry was building an X-Wing pilot rig. Any word on his status?

 

His is mostly done. He gave me a few details about it. You up for this, SS, or will ya be sportin' the Dark Lord himself? It's always fun having multiple Vaders.

 

I'd love to, but can't until the job situation stabilizes.

I wouldn't mind doin' an X-wing rig, but I won't be at the WOTR event itself, if that's what these are prepping for.

 

I think it would be closer to saying it's hardly done. I've got most of the pieces, they just aren't in what one could call a coheseve state.

That's OK. Try being a guy, at Hobby Lobby, with an assortment of strange fabrics and other odds and ends that never fit together, and having the lady at the counter give you a funny look and say, "WHAT are YOU making?"

It doesn't really matter if they have arm pockets or not because it probably won't be the right type of pocket and you'll need to replace it.

SC - I need to get you the pattern images with measurments for the Flak Vest. I'll send 'em when I get home.

The leather store finally knows who I am. This last excursion they just asked, "Ooo...what kind of armor this time?"

ZOO found jumpsuits to buy in cases, looks like $35/cs?? Don't know how many in a case or what they look like?????
