    Awright...awright...I'm moving...

    Only moving at half-impulse...

    But I'm moving.

Chest boxes will be done tonight. All the glue and stuff might not be cured til tomorrow morning, though.

Howzabout we start our next big psychotic project next week and move at a nice steady pace instead of a hectic one with only a week and a half to do everything? LOL. [face_laugh]

didn't you ever read that calvin and hobbes, where hobbes says to calvin "aren't you supposed to write a report this weekend?" and calvin replies "I'm waiting for the right motivation." Hobbes: "What's that?"

    Calvin: "Last minute panic."

That's how we work best. :p

Chico came by last night and we sanded down all the additional detail buttons. Sheesh -- almost 40 buttons.

Jeff -- you were right -- that pre-mixed Bondo stuff doesn't hold up for crap under pressure. It cracked. Instead, I picked up some "Super Glue Corporation" epoxy adhesive. It's a 2-part syringe..."industrial strength." It's pretty thick, so I think it'll work well.

But, fer now I gotta get back to work.

Yes, last minute panic is the best motivator, but the reason I'm so nutty now is BECAUSE of years and years of doing things at the last minute. I'd like to retain a little bit of my sanity for old age so I actually have enough mind to go senile...

Aside from all that, let me just express the joy that I have in knowing that I'll have a costume that I can breathe in, sit down in, and walk up and down stairs in. LOL. [face_laugh]

    Oh yeahhhh...the flightsuit's no problem. [face_laugh]

I was able to pee in my armor, too -- I hinged the ab plate/cod piece, and made the strap that holds everything together down there detachable. It takes a bit of maneuvering and acrobatics...some yoga...and some skillz I learned from Houdini's ghost, but it's possible. I think Dave/Faceplant has a pic of me in front of the urinal from Starfest 2003. LOL.

    tonite's schedule:

    get home.
    try not to crash.
    pop in ep 4.
figure out sides. i.e. bias tape or rolled?
    sew said sides.
    shoulders, cut and sew.
    belt. what am i doing?
    break down.
    regroup.
    zone out.
    finish belts.
    sew ewok orange suit.
attempt to do a little drool bib.
    pass out.
    go to work.

somewhere in there we need food.

chico, if tasha wants to come and help, she would be more than appreciated, but we will understand if she wants to stay home with the kids. :)

    We really could use another sew-er and machine. but we'll make do. or just not finish today. BUT THAT IS NOT AN OPTION!!!! it will be done. or it won't. ask me in 11 hours if i care. 8-}

what did you do to the top? I didn't sew the top and bottom of the shiney stuff that isn't normal cloth (what's it called?) I'm thinking of sewing that back, and the regular cloth back too, after i cut them to more closely have the shape it should. we made the top a *little* too long, so the bottom isn't all that flarey.

the only thing keeping me awake at work is some hot tamales and the threat of chewable vitamin c. don't worry, I usually wake up on the way home. or i can take a nap then, i didn't drive. :)

mind wandering...ear hurts....stupid telephone thing...my ears are going to stick out now....hey a bunny....oooh, the trees are 'helloing' me....time for more candy....
