How about Rebel Legion Base Commanders?

 

The only people getting in for free are legit SW Celebs & their family/posse...or people who want to bribe me with cash donations to my PayPal account ($100 per person should do the trick)

 

Hi , I just want to know when will the address will be put up so I can send my money order in ?

So is there a limit as to how many people you'll be letting through the doors? Or will you let people pay at the doors? Or should I get one now so I don't miss out?

 

Seb will probably post the paypal info on the 15th. If you are a member of the 501st and want to go ahead and register, the info should be posted on your local 501st boards. If not, don't worry, plenty of tix to go around even if you wait til the 15th.

 

It's for a good cause. No one should get in for free IMO. ('cept Albin)

I never saw an answer yet as to what everyone is wearing - more of a casual party vs costumes?

I really do want to come to this, but the 22nd is the day I first get to Indy. My flight leaves at 6:40 that morning (so I'll have to get up around 4 or so) and gets to Indianapolis at 8:59 a.m. then this party at 7 that same night. I don't know if I'd be too zonked after getting up before dawn and being on a plane half the morning and spending the day at C3.

 

How old do you have to be to go to the party?

 

It's all ages, so if you're alive, you can come.

 

Keep in mind eve if you have a long day everyone will probably be on an adrenaline high. I have never been to a large convention, but I have taken my New Beetle to the big 4-5 day New Beetle gathering/show in Roswell, NM. Even with all the packing and unpacking, washing the car, walking around to look at the others, driving for 7+ hours a day. My adrenaline high didn't wear off till I got home (10+ drive across TX)and was faced with once again unloading my packed bug.

So DarthShona you might still attend. Hang around, get something to eat, meet some of the other fans you may have met online. Then when you start to feel tired go ahead and leave. You don't have to stay til midnight. I doubt I will.

Sent in my money since I am a Rebel Legion member. I figured I would add these boards to the growing list of Star Wars related message boards I spend my work day browsing and conversing on.

 

I agree with Jen-RU, DarthShona; the adrenaline rush should get you through the whole day, and maybe even 'till you get back home!

I will also be making an 8+ hour plane trip to get there, but I'll be darned if I miss out on any of this stuff. I see it this way, I'll have plenty of time to sleep once I get back to work on monday!

 

Yeah you guys are right. I didn't think about the adrenaline part lol. Plus, I live in the same timezone as Indy so it's not like I'd be jet-lagged.

I am definitely going this time. I didn't go to the party at C2 and I really regretted not going.
