And we wouldn't want that to happen.

Although we apparently seem to lose even some of our "sticky" threads, too.

And yes, lost threads = lost posts...

Sticky threads that un-stick simply drop down to the date of their last post. Locked threads do NOT hurt post count.

No Sticky on this thread... You can only stick them for a year, and you can only Sticky a NEW thread, created by the RSA :p So, we should just keep posting in this one to keep it on the front page :)

    Hello, how is everyone.

I went to Celebration II, I had a great time. Just alot of lines. But that is ok because Celebration III is four days long now. Well I have already booked a hotel room at the Westin, next to the RCA dome. A little exspensive but I know that I have a room.

Some of us are doing the same thing, then in a few months we will see if other hotels are booking an try to find a cheaper one. I can't wait, this will make 3 celebrations for me.

I was thinking about making a costume before, C3. But I don't know what to make, but I want it to be cool, but not too exspensive to make.

    Any suggestions?

I can help you make a Rebel Fleet Trooper, one of the least expensive costumes around.

If you want to see a bit of how to do it, go to www.studiocreations.com

How hard would it be to do a Jedi, and around how much would that cost? How would you make a Light Saber?

I know that it would be more exspensive to do a Storm Tropper out fit, around $500, I imagine. I would love to do a Storm Tropper out fit but where could I get the armor at?

Thanks for all of your help.

Jedi aren't too hard, it's mostly sewing of the robe and tunics. I've probably put about $50-$60 into materials for each of mine. Lightsabers you can either buy machined or get instructions for building one out of plumbing and hardware items. If you want to see instructions for hardware sabers you can go here.

Actually, this might be a good sign, indicating that GenCon really does have their poop in a group, and convention tix, etc. might be available sooner rather than later.
