I had to say that I did have a blast, despite the long lines, losing my debit card and pawning one of my Vaders for cab fair, and not really remembering Saturday night (but I have video!)

 

OMG, Karma. Your Aayla body paint! It's the right shade of bluegreen!! And your lekku!! They are not deformed and scary!! Much love to you for accuracy. ^-^

It seems like you guys had fun; I'm still disappointed that I wasn't able to go. :/

 

yeah your Aayla costume totally rocks...did you win the contest? Do you sew all of the costumes yourself?

I would also like to say that the Chiss guy is badass. I've never actually seen anyone in chiss garb and what not...now I know what my next costume'll be. ^_^

I'll have to take a look at the Chiss she has. As someone doing a Thrawn I am very critical of the Chiss costumes and I didn't see anyone there that was even close to being decent. Half the people didn't have red eyes, and the other half just had regular red contacts. No contrast in the skin, really bright or really pale blues, the list goes on.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

 

I put a lot of time and frustration into that Aayla costume.

The only problem with it is that the headpiece is heavy and gives me a headache after a while.

OMG you do thrawn!...that's hot. As you can tell (sn) I like the Chiss. They're like my favorite species.

 

The headpiece may have been heavy, but it looked good. I will endure a headache for that! XD

can't you get them at an eye doctor place...optomitrists I believe it is? I'm totally going as Shawnkyr Nuruodo next halloween...

 

You have to have a special scelera eye exam and get them from an FX company. The typical price for a set is $300.

 

heh...$300...>_< blast.
