C3 site Crashed!

Personally I think that GenCon must be being run by Trekkies today and they are having a good laugh at our expense

 

Well it's official now...now it's a "software error" page that comes up. How in God's name could they not be prepared for this??!!

 

I don't care what forum policy is at this point. This is quite literally bull****. I've been sitting at the same page for 20 mins now. I have a class in 50 mins.

I finally got through and got my pass and my hotel room. Just be patient!

 

NOOOOOO...i got as far as clicking "check out" and now im getting that software error page!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH


EDIT: Now im getting INTERNAL SERVER errors.

 

i'm seeing the software error page as well.

 

I can't even register at GenCon... *sigh*

Scrap this, I'll wait until tomorrow instead. I need to sleep now.

Well, at least this time TPTB can blame it on the "3rd party" for screwing it up. After the StarWarsShop.com fiasco, you'd think they would've told GenCon what kind of traffic to expect.

 

I am way past frustrated. If I don't get to go because hotels run out, heads will roll. I've never been to one of these or any con for that matter. This will be the last chance for me to have a shot at doing something this big.

 

Why does this always happen?
I was trying to register and it kept telling me to reload.
Not knowing I had received an e-mail saying I was registered but now like most people I can't get back on to purchase.

 

Proceeding to checkout now. Finally! Bout damn time!

 

i'm at the bypass discounts page. And it won't let me move on from there. Damnation!

 

Can anyone who has gotten to the point of hotel registration post any rates so that we tell if there's really a benefit to doing it through the con?

it feels like the C:II lines all over again, but virtual.

 

it took me over two hours to register me and my gf.. and now the page where you buy the tickets wont open.. i am getting so MAD!

i dont understand why they cant be prepared for all this.

I started right at 3pm eastern time. I did not know we had to register with gencon.. did that but then got to the purchase page and it won't let me check out. so now I have to log back in and it is not responding. I am close to three hours playing this game and after working with teens all day teaching high school, this is not how I hoped to be three hours after school. I still have not been able to buy my badge. I have a room at hampton inn but would rather be at a guest hotel if possible. UGH>>

Man this is supremely annoying.

 

Add me to the list of frustrated users! I have been trying for almost three hours! I have a hotel already (Marriott Courtyard booked last May) but I paid waaaay too much for it and I was hoping to get a better rate.

Am a right in assuming that I should not be worried about a sell out of the badges any time soon?

 

is there a limited number of badges???????????
