A few of us diehard fans are meeting tomorrow morning at Red5, at 11AM to discuss our C4 plans. As passes are going on sale Monday morning, we'd like to organize our room bookings and discuss other such important stuff. If you are 100% in, meaning NOTHING - and I mean NOTHING - will stop you from going to C4 - you're welcome to attend.

Once we meet up at Red5, we're proceeding to a local pub for breakfast.

I Pity the Foo who doesn't come to C4!!

 

It is quite the soiree and no mistake. I don't usually get jazzed until the week or so before, but I've gotta tell you the enthusiasm is building. . .

As to the meeting, I'm gonna pencil in a 'maybe' for an appearance since I work 7pm-7am tonight. I'd like to go, but if I do come please be understanding if I'm not my usual sexy and effervescent self.

Ok here's what I think the top 5 for hotels should be:

1. Holiday Inn - across the street
2. Ritz Milner - 2 blocks away
3. Sheraton Downtown - 4 blocks away
4. Comfort Inn City Center - one half mile away
5. Wilshire Grand Hotel - 4 blocks away

The closer the better is the only way to go hope everyone is ready on Thursday .

 

I advocate the least distance between me and C4 fun. I'd like to avoid spending too much time hoofing it from place to place if I can just be across the street for maximum geek enjoyment.

For those of us who couldn't make the Sunday meeting (and might not make it out tonight), can you please post some of the details here? Pretty please?

 

YES TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!! the trip starts to take shape as of 1PM (I think my time zone calculations are correct). Gary there was only alittle bit of talk about going down a few days early we may talk about it more at the meeting tonight.

 

Keep those jingles coming...it's been the highlight of my days. I am definetely going down early, probably leave calgary the friday or saturday before, going to do Disney and whatnot. It's 1:00pm by my calculations as well..3 hours to go...

 

Here is the basic lowdown for our onslaught of C4:

If you are sharing a room:
1)coordinate with others to form 3-or-4 person bunkgroups
2)pick a person in that bunkgroup to make the reservation
3)Once the reservation is made, let your group know where you are, and how much per person it will be.


Things of note:
-Don't assume you have a bunkgroup. Arrangements made 4 months ago may not be valid as people drop in/out.
-Some people are coming/going on different dates. Coordinate this with your bunkgroup
-BobaJay is planning the group airfare booking through WestJet. Talk with him, and for gosh
sakes, make sure he gets the money.

We will be making up Shirts and Badges for Tosche Station members who are going, and preliminary designs will be made available in the coming months. RyanM is working to convert our logo into vector graphics.

The shirts can have your Name or Handle on the sleeve or back, depending on how the design works out.

Once volunteering information is posted, we can work towards that.
