OK. Good news is, I finished the next chapter. Bad news is, Francis, and now Ivan, have forced me to evacuate. I'm on my friends computer right now, but I have to start the chapter all over again or have to wait til I get back, which will taken who knows how long. I hate living in Florida.

 

Hope everything is ok. Looking forward to reading more when you get back

Chapter 5

Thirty minutes later, Obi-Wan finally walks into the cargo hold. Alone. Qui-Gon merely raised his brow.

?I?,? started Obi.

?Don?t bother,? stated Qui-Gon as he raised his hand. ?I know what happened.?

?Then why didn?t you come to help?? Obi-Wan asked, perplexed.

?You seemed to have everything under control,? answered Qui-Gon walking by Obi-Wan. ?Everything except your emotions.?

Obi-Wan just stood there with his mouth open as if to say something, but instead, just watched his Mater?s retreating back. What emotions is he talking about? I have no emotions for Ca-Tron. I don?t even like her! With that last thought, he sulked all the way back to his room.

Qui-Gon turned off the water after pouring himself a cup of herbal tea. Two who will be like one? Sitting down to ponder this new prophecy, he suddenly felt a tug on his mind. Curious, he closed his eyes, opening himself up to the Force to try to locate this mysterious tug. After several minutes of searching, he finally gave up and went back to his tea. Standing, he realized it was late by the fact that all of his muscles were stiff. Deciding that now would be a good time to go to bed, he went to check up on Ca-Tron, only to find that she was not in her room. Worrying slightly, he walked past the observatory, finding her watching the stars fly by. Deciding to leave her to her thoughts, he went on to bed.

?I will never tell you anything.?

?We?ll just see about that.?

With that, a hand appeared out of nowhere and struck a powerful blow.

?Now, tell me what I want to know.?

?No.?

?Very well then.?

Suddenly, it got very hot and there was a blood curdling scream.

Qui-Gon woke up in a cold sweat. His hands went instantly to his temple. A mind droid. Who screamed? Who was speaking? When did or will this happen? He thought. He looked around the room he was sharing with Obi-Wan, who was nowhere to be seen.

Obi-Wan looked over at the fascinated Ca-Tron watching the stars.

?The stars are so beautiful, are they not?? asked Ca-Tron, still looking out the window.

?As beautiful as you are,? responded Obi-Wan, instantly regretting his words.

?Thank you,? replied Ca-Tron quietly, looking into his eyes. As he started to lean closer, she stated ?but I don?t think we should be??

?What?s going on in here?? asked Qui-Gon as he entered the room.

?Nothing,? Obi-Wan and Ca-Tron quickly responded, separating.

Qui-Gon eyed them skeptically. ?It?s late. What are you two doing up??

?Couldn?t sleep,? they answered together.

?Maybe some meditations will help,? suggested Qui-Gon. The two Padawans only groaned. ?Or you could go to bed.?

??Night Master,? quipped Obi-Wan as he quickly left.

Ca-Tron looked one last time at the stars then turned to leave. Muttering a polite goodnight, she left Qui-Gon alone to meditate on his dream.

LOL at sulky Obi! I liked the way they watched the stars fly by. Qui-Gon's dream is rather worrying. Who was he dreaming about? Meditation an instant cure for insomnia! ROTFL!

 

If anyone is still around, I will continue with this when the semester ends in 3 weeks. I've had a stretch of bad luck and a nervous breakdown to deal with. I have the story all written, all I have to do is just add some more details and type it up.

 

i'm still waiting...like an old man on a cheap ho...lol *bounces up and down*......
