I suspect she's suffering from selective amnesia, or just doesn't want to admit the truth. You know what they say: "Once you go Duros, you really crave churros." Hunh. I don't even know what that means. Still, mmmmm, churros.

No. There were two Duros as Chalmun's Cantina on Tattooine. Clearly Cad Bane had sent them to keep an eye on his grandson, who he cared for even though his own son had become something of a petulant, whiny, shouty little creep who wound up being mostly gears and wires. He probably thought he'd be able to bring Luke into the Bounty Hunting business since he was in the Autumn of his years and wanted to pass his legacy on.

 

How will the novel Kenobi change our perceptions on this question do you guys think?

You know, with Kenobi, I think one of my greatest fears has been realized.

Cad Bane does he contradict the EU is no longer just a thing. It's no longer just a private forum joke that everyone will forget about sooner or later.

Cad Bane does he contradict the EU has been immortalized in print. It is forever part of Star Wars lore. It will have forever pervaded an actual piece of literature, not just an internet board.
