That's true but in the EU the only guys who are blue with red eyes are Chiss and people are suprised by how they look. Yet if Duros are wondering around they shouldn't be

I don't know about contradicting the EU, but my flightsuit is way cooler than his hat.

 

I thought Cad Bane was all right as a character in Seasons 1 through 3. It seemed like they made him even more bitter and over-the-top when he was cruel to Obi-Wan-in-disguise.

Anyhow, does he contradict the EU? Well, he's not as interesting as Aurra Sing. He's an amoral posterior/nightmare of a greedy man. I think his convo with Sidious is chilling. When Sidious hires him to kidnap those children, you can almost see Bane almost surprised by how dark and terrifying Sidious is, but he doesn't care because all he wants is money.

I dunno. I think he fits well with other EU material. He's no role model, but I know a lot of guys like the fights he puts up against certain Jedi.

They made him Duros because of his appearance. They thought the Neimoidians were cowards and they wanted Bane, one of their "cousins," to be a nasty, terrifying bounty hunter. Big deal. I don't care what his species is. I accept EU in my interpretation. I agree with what EvanNova95 said. An individual can take whatever they want for the story.
