I'm really just a lawman trying to tame the vicious wilderness that is Lit. It's like Somalia, but with more sniping.

huh, that was weird. Dozed off for a bit, and when I snapped awake, I couldn't breathe.

    A little distressing.

Sleep apnea? Usually nothing to worry about, from what I know.

I don't believe so -- if only because I only realized it when I snapped awake, whereas apnea -- from what I know -- is something that most people aren't aware of unless diagnosed.

I was basically napping, came to, and felt like my throat was clogged with stuff. I basically had to take a huge gasp for air, and then it was fine. It was a weird freakish moment.

We are talking about a character lied in order to protect Prince Joffrey over her own family, the lovable little soul that he is.

She is a fantastic character, but it is because of her growth as a character through the books(and even TV series) that people like her. At the start she was a horrible girl with horrible priorities. I suspect a lot more TV viewers like her in Season 2 than did in Season 1, because in Season 1 she was completely blind to the world around her. I think it is a pretty natural reaction for the TV viewers, based on Season 1, to not like her very much.

I also hate Catelyn in the books, but it is an admirable kinda hate. She is thew crazy lady who acts first and thinks second. She tried to have Tyrion killed for a crime he did not commit via a fake trial. She is not exactly a paragon of virtue that one.

I actually didn't notice a lack of Sansa in Season 2, but at a glance apparently she didn't appear at all in several episodes so there might be something to that. She certainly had way more screen time, dialog and story than Ros did.

As mentioned Ros is there likely for Porn first to meet HBO's quotas, but she does fill an interesting role that allows us to learn more about several key players in the story. Because we know Ros a little it makes those scenes they put her in with Little Finger & Varys work better than if those scenes took place with whore #1 who we didn't have a history with what so ever.

She said she didn't remember. When put in a place between a sibling who always messes things up for her, and between a prince she hoped to marry, she said that she didn't remember. She said this after she'd spent the day in the royal encampment with the king, the queen, and all their men -- all these authority figures with whom she's completely unfamiliar. She was in a frightening situation, and she was asked to publically take sides. It's courageous that she resisted the pressure to confirm Joffrey's story and maintained neutrality by claiming a lack of knowledge. It's entirely possible that she was so traumatized by the experience that she did have trouble properly remembering it.

I love how people give Arya all the slack in the world, but when it comes to Sansa, they forget it's a child we're talking about because she cares about things that other people don't.

No, the TV viewers dislike her in season 1 because they completely neglect her admirable qualities and portray her as a complete caricature and stereotype, while Arya gets played off as your spunky modern heroine (and has her own flaws airbrushed out!).

Wait, the book has Sansa more complicit in Cersei's plans, doesn't it? I swear that she told the Queen about Ned's intention to ship herself and Arya back to White Harbour. Anyway, Sansa is a great character; not only does she progress into a likeable and sympathetic player, but she also provides an ever intriguing insight into King's Landing in her POV chapters (King's Landing is my favourite). I love her story in SoS and AFFC, so I'm really looking forward to it.
The Moon Door!! Also, I can't wait to see where Sansa and Littlefinger's story goes in TWoW.

Given the reference to Joffrey, I think he was talking about the direwolf incident. As far as KL goes -- Sansa talking to the queen at that moment screws over her and Arya, but there's absolutely no reason that Sansa would know that, nor was Sansa going through a calculus that placed her family on one side and herself on the other. While the direwolf thing is often brought up, I don't know the KL thing really is.

And we have to remember that it was really Ned who screwed things up there. :p

What are Arya's flaws in your opinion, Jello? I can think of the
slaughter of people unnecessarily (moreso in the books)
, but I'm interested to see what you think.

That happens to be a couple of times per year, usually when I'm sleeping somewhere unfamiliar and suddenly snap out of sleep early.. It's very unpleasant.

    I hate you all.

Eh, trolling is counter-productive. Play nice. :p

That said, I'd like to troll some of the people *asking* the questions:

"Dessel/Bane was obviously a very powerful Sithlord. And it was hinted that he was the fortold Sith'ari. Whether this is coincidental or blatant, I am not sure. But how does it feel to have a character that you sculpted and created take on it's own essences and characterizations outside your vision of them?" (my emphasis)

    LOL.
