Somebody's becoming famous.
I missed this yesterday. I am extremely disgusted and offended.
Why so serious?
That's not canon!
You're not canon
And thank god for that.
I'd personally think Waru, but then I realized I'd be thanking Him for the non-existence of the founder of his church.
Sounds like religion, alright.
I just finished the 6th Malazan book. It really takes an effort to get through one of those.
I felt that books 3 and 7 were the best of the series, personally. I don't think I disliked any of the novels, although I had to mull over The Crippled God for about a week before I decided that it was brilliant.
So far, Memories of Ice is easily my favorite. It has the noticeably improved prose of Deadhouse Gates with the more likable and interesting characters of Gardens of the Moon.
Oh good, you've finally started Memories of Ice. That book is sort of amazing. And it ends up being the Chamber of Secrets of the series.
Heh, I was at that panel. That was awesome. I even made a video as well.
Hey yo peeps.
How does one politely decline volunteering for a lionfish rodeo? I've been told I'm sort of expected to do it by my boss but I'm not cool with it. I hear it involves the deaths of many a lionfish.
Also the South is weird. But that's besides the point.
Tell them you have lionfish phobia and vomit uncontrollably in their presence.
That ought to do it.
The South isn't weird. It's just awful.
But what if they all start doing it? They might call it the Lionfish Purge. They'd be eating different colored lionfish just to add variety.
@instantdeath -- alas, I have learned this all too late, to my chagrin.
Then you'd have started a new trend. Film it, upload it, and enjoy your newfound internet immortality.
Been ages since I've read Harry Potter, so can you remind me what being the "Chamber of Secrets" of a series entails?
It means that it seems to be almost a side-story at first, lots of concepts and characters that get introduced then set aside for a while, and then it all becomes very relevant to the climax and conclusion of the story. Chamber of Secrets introduced the connection between Voldemort and Harry, the Horcruxes (although not named as such), first hints of Harry/Ginny, etc.
What exactly is a lionfish rodeo?
Lionfish are awesome looking, but venomous and a rather invasive species.
Honestly I'm not really sure. It involves providing a monetary award to those who compete in the annual hunting of lionfish, which are apparently invasive to many of the south coast beaches.
..and I just realized that lionfish has three eyes. I've gotta get off this forum once in a while. o_0
"The Lionfish must have three eyes."
