Yeah, the Defender from this particular set looks pretty good -- but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I did rather like the Titanium Z-95 though.

@darthscott3457 excellent. What's the ship look like from the bottom?

I used to use my idle time in 3D classes to make SW ships. All this talk reminds me that I made an SSD, though it's pretty rough.

I even made a rough ISD.

Well, after a while, SSD towers are going to look lumpy and misshapen. Hit them enough with A-Wings, concussion missiles, corvettes with space bombs, ect, and they are going to end up ugly and system damaged, like Rocky Balboa.

    I feel your pain.

All this building talk has made me want to take a trip to the Lego store though.

Great job, making an ISD is how I have learned how to use every CAD package or finite element software I have ever used

Is that the Darksaber superlaser on the left side of the main superstructure?

That's an interesting Errant Venture model, though not from that website I posted I thought this one was pretty unique as well of the Eclipse:

Even models of that thing are horrifying.

The ship seems a bit.... elongated to me.

In a good way or a bad way?

I've always been rather fond of the Eclipse.

NB -- not my first experience with snow (I do not live on Mars), but rather, the first time I've gotten to stay home on account of snow. So, yes, congratulations are in order.

I have never got to stay home because of snow, so congratulations. Today I had to bike in snow so deep you couldn't see where the road was. And it was uphill both ways!

In three years my office has only closed for snow one time, and that was around noon after we'd all already gotten there.

Lugija -- I tried to come up with a witty response, but I bet you actually have had to bike in snow both ways before and so there's really no topping that. :p

Coop -- I found out that we had a 2 hr delayed start yesterday.... only after I had already been at work for two hours and wondered why the heck everything was so quiet.

I had to bike in the snow today as well. Not too deep, but the downtown traffic didn't help.
