Well, the show did apparently give us this...

Lando's father Lindo Calrissian, voiced by Billy Dee himself, no less. He's pretty fly, I have to admit.

Hey, we should discuss this in the diversity thread next, Coop. :p

I prefer to think that he's a bounty hunter in the NJO-era with a penchant for retro -- hence the clone trooper armor and the inexplicable Stealth-E.

The Kingdom Come (that no-magic, medieval RPG) kickstarter is up.

Just saw it. It looks like it'll be amazing or a major disappointment. Fingers crossed for the former.

Have just found out that the 1800-centery deceive series Anno 1790 is available on DVD from Nordic Noir. I can recommend the series to any of you like that kind of stories.

Okej, imageshack seems to have gone mad or changed owner or something like that and I don't have any idea how they expect me to use it. Any suggestions on how to make it work or suggestions on other pages were you can upload images?

After the Callista trilogy (just typing the name brings up a distinct aftertaste of bleh), Starfighters of Adumar is breath of intoxicatingly (is that a word? I just used it, it must be a word) sweet air.

    Q) Older Luke Skywalker: beard or no beard?

    A)
Well based on what has gone before, I have a feeling it's beard, but I have no confirmation of that. My wife said if you grow a beard, you'll cover up your cleft chin. That's not something that occurred to me. But I can only guess. I've never read any of the novelizations or anything but someone said to me, 'you're married, you have children.' Based on Obi-Wan I would have guessed I'd be living in an igloo or something. He was more spiritual, he didn't have a wife or children. And when you find out one of the only eligible women in the galaxy is your sister, it really cuts down on your odds of hooking up with anyone. But that's not what these movies are about. The charm of the trilogy is it appeals to the child in all of us. It goes back to playing in your backyard. It's very primal, it's good versus evil, a high sense of adventure.

A beard really speaks to the child in me.

I'm trying to figure out the connection between marriage and children and facial hair.

Actually I'm not trying too hard, I'm afraid of getting a sore brain.

I still don't understand the point of Reddit (feels like a messageboard but without organization!) but these AMAs tend to be interesting.

Not sure that Hamill is remember Luke's bad experiences on Hoth though. An igloo, really? :p

We don't know what went on behind the scenes. At one point maybe Ewoks lived in igloos.

And now I wish that actually happened.

He needs to have the beard. If we get a bearded Luke Skywalker out of the ST, at least one good thing will have come of it.

But then his facial hair will have to challenge Kyle's and that would destroy the universe...

-oh, Disney. I see what you did there.

Isn't it obvious? Once you're married with children, you have to get used to many a close shave.

    Duh. :p
