heh, that's the only DW episode I've ever, ever seen.
I've yet to find something suitably cynical for my signature. I'm not narcissistic enough to quote myself.
Try Ambrose Bierce's quote on cynicism.
(Yes, you'll have to look it up. )
Why not? I think that would make a wonderful sig quote.
Better yet- George Carlin's take.
R_F, fair enough.
blackmyron, that's a pretty good one. Might need to go beneath my avatar instead of in my sig. Todd, Carlin's usually pretty quotable, but that one... kinda falls flat to be honest.
It's my favorite by a long shot. I went through quite a few tissues though.
Here is the photo we all took at the event:
Jello is on the far right, wearing his finest red robes. I wore my dress whites in honor of my promotion.
Did you expect a 250 Km space station to not have at least one burger joint? Blue Bell shakes, though. Eh.
I kind of wish I could go there, just for the name.
Disney princesses in period-accurate costumes
The Maid Marian one. OMG. That was hilarious.
With those tattoos, wouldn't Pocahontas be barred from working at Disney World?
I laughed at Maid Marian.
Heh, I've seen some of those before. Seems like it's a project that's taken a few years -- some of them are pretty new to me, particularly PatF, Tangled, and of course the Robin Hood one. That was genius.
I was really surprised you invited Mothma as your date. I thought you two had a falling out the last time you went out.
The one Robot Chicken joke that I don't think will ever get old for me.
I dunno, I kinda loved the young Palpy bit on the ... what was it, the third special or the second? I think it was the third. Granted, it wasn't funny as much as it was... patriotic.
Baba O'Riley makes it.
Claire Hummel does other stuff besides the princesses - I remember she designed petpets for Neopets based on Grievous and his Wheel bike.
My personal favorite joke from Robot Chicken Star Wars is Vader phoning Palpatine.
The thing about Tolkien is, the languages were where it all started, with Middle-earth just being a backstory for the languages.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Darth Vader!"
I'm pretty sure that was the thought running through the heads of pretty much every fan over the age of ten when they saw that scene, boogers or no.
So, according to a recent study, it turns out that I live in the most Bible minded city in the country.
I hope that Hellfire reigns down on us sooner rather than later.
