    Hello FFNZ :)

    What's happened guys? Is this the fearsome Kiwi batting we had been lead to expect? Have a word with your team, we are in danger of levelling things up with you! :eek:

    Don't let us down New Zealand, we need to be able to abuse our cricketers mightily. If Nasser's lads win, we're gonna have to start on David Beckham again, and he's about to be a father for the second time! :D

    ;)

    180 for 3, after 39 overs... lookin good! :)
    in fact it will take a poor NZ team to lose from here...

    oh ****, seems like I spoke too soon, Macca just went out. oh well, here comes Cairns!!
    but what about Nathan Astle! 12th one day century! hes the man... :D

    The series win is within our grasp, but I think I'll wait till its over before I jump across to FFUK just to be safe. :p

    Great match. England thoroughly deserved their win. Our fielding was poor (as was our batting in general).

    Thankfully Astle provided some quality entertainment, and managed to ruin your bowling figures along the way.

    exactly my thoughts on the topic too JP. :)

    Astle just screwed their top bowlers averages.

    And broke several records along the way. The faster test 200 (in 153 balls) - he'll keep that record for a good long while I forsee. :)

    Sorry guys, my rude [face_blush]

    [image=http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1875000/images/_1875936_astle300pa.jpg]

    Astle struck 11 sixes :eek:, two of them going out of the ground :eek:, and 28 fours to easily surpass his previous best Test score of 156 not out :eek:

    Credit where it's due! :D

    //Applauds heartily//
