Calgary Calgary Saddledome (ROTS and Pepsi)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you guys know that there is an event at the Calgary Saddledome happening this weekend (March 13) from noon to 3pm. There is also a car/ truck show happening down there as well.

The event is a Pepsi Summer Kick-Off Program / Meet n Greet Event. This is Pepsi's big kick off for the year. They are using this to display some ROTS merchandise and also playing a small 2 minute clip from the movie. Not sure what they mean by merchandise... could be toys, posters... maybe freebies... not sure.

Anyways wanted to let you know that the 501st Badlands Squadron will be there.

 

2 minute clip from the movie? might be worth while stopping by are a whole bunch of you going down, i'm probably going this weekend if the weather is good.

 

There's gonna be a few of us there

 

The blurb I read on the 501st page made it sound like a PEPSI corp only kinda deal, but the 501 were invited to help out with the ROTS promotion. Can non-pepsi and non-501 people show up?

Odd.... I apologize if I'm wrong. I thought this was for the public ...not just Staff and Family members of Pepsi.

Do you have the link that says Staff and Family Members of Pepsi?

 

If non-members can go I would go to see what is going on there. I have some friends who would go too. Let us know?

Ah... it's our own website. I wonder if that was an error. I sent a note to one of our members who's organizing this... I haven't gotten a response back from him yet.

 

Sorry guys... its a private function for the Pepsi family and members. If you ask me that's stupid. They are donating $1000 to the Ronald McDonald House in our name to charity because we are doing this event.
