call for 3ds max artists & rotoscopers / demo reel posting

Hello,

If you would like to contribute visual effects to an independent project please PM me your interest and abilities. I am looking for 3ds max artists and rotoscopers. I can provide more info and samples of the project if you fit what I am looking for. I just don't want it all posted in a public forum, please understand that.

I coulda sworn the commercial with the rose petals was done at Cafe FX.

I have nothing intelligent to add here, I just love the fact that you put the shot of the water splashing down into Isengard back-to-back with the snowboarding guy. It looks like they're from the same flick and it amuses me.

anyway, I'm a loooong time SW fan and have been following the 'fanfilms' since they started. I've been really impressed with some of the fx work coming out of here the past few years.

I hate to be rude or anything, but that reel doesn't really prove anything. While I don't doubt that you've worked for Spider-Man, The Hulk, I, Robot and LOTR, there's absolutely no breakdowns in there to really get me believing.

 

I'm kinda interested... demo reel for roto and compositing in sig... but I'm assuming it's unpaid & I don't have the time for that.

please PM me if you might be interested in collaborating on a 'project' with me. I can provide more details offline. I am looking specifically for people capable of modeling, texturing, & fx animation in 3ds max. I also need people capable of doing complex roto. They should have samples online showing experience in these areas.

and no, this is not payed work, but as I have said already I have been really impressed with much of the work coming out of here. (VERSUS / COE / RVD / TOD / just to name a few). Not only would I like to meet more of you, but I am often looking for artists for paid work.

Out of curiosity, has anyone jumped in here? If you haven't checked out Marc's demo, he's done some pretty impressive work. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's got in store for the Star Wars fan film world.
