Call for graphic artists

I am looking for logo designs for the six teams in the TPM Forum Trivia Contest. The names are:

The Mauls
Windu Nation
Obi-Wannabes
Yoda Cronies
Podracer-X
Sithlicious

I'm looking for designs that are (at most) 150x150 pixels, contain the dominant color for the team (red, purple, blue, green, orange, and black, respectively), and encorporate text and images (no, I'm not limiting image selection to those from TPM). Please post in this thread if you are interested in doing some design work. We can talk concept artwork via PM after I get back to you.

I diden't know what colors went with which teams, so I just gave it a try. Hope you like them.

 

I've heard my way with cusswords called an art, and I'm pretty graphic with it. Does that count?

So, not only does the Podracer team have the "-X", it's orange as well? I don't know whether to ask to be the mascot or sue for Intarweb Message Board Trademark Infringement.

Thanks, I tried to make them so that they all had the same aspects to them so that each team would not feel that their icon was worse or better than anothers. They all have their team name with a glow around it, and a picture which refers to their team name.

Whats with the glow thing, thats so played out.

It's cool and all but it's all the same and it's easy to do. You want designers to go "how did they do that"

With Logos play with words look at other company logos thier wording is diffrent. Having it simple and with a glow is plane.

Look at the coca Cola Logo, how the wording is all diffrent a few letters rap arond another or something.

Look at ROX's logo how he plays with the X. Now thats a logo.

You guys have the software, explore.

I've been know where, I'm 14, I've learnt it all myself. And don't be so harsh on everyone, if you think your that good make one yourself and then you can say stuff like that.

I learned it on my own too, then I went to skool for it. In fact I did not like most of my classes because of that but I learned some stuff

Skool can't teach you skills, you have to do that on your own . Skool can teach you guide line and rules and suchs. You can take everything with a grian of salt

I kinda' agree with Nerak, but you have to keep in mind... not everyone is a pro, heck I am still a n00b as they call it. This is also not a Graphics forum.

Oh... and I do love the logos you guys have made, very nice. Good Job

 

It's a bunch of logos for a Star Wars trivia contest, not a multi-million dollar ad campaign to be aired during the first break in the Superbowl...keep just a little perspective on this.

That said, Rox's logo is the bomb and worthy of infringing on the Seb-X trademarks...though it could use a little orange.

When I design I try to things diffrent. Thats why I got an A plus on my Final Design. I had to do ads for a Fragrance called "Desire". I even had to buy a bottle and place a label on it. I got a model and every thing. I took some shots and filmed her. Very Cool
