    Is there anyone here in the Omaha area who would like to participate in a sf writers critique group?

    Sure. Sign me up. What's involved? Are you talking about fan fiction, book reviews, that sort of thing?

    I'm talking about writers trying to write sf -- whether it be fanfic or straight sf fic. Belonging to a writer's group can be a really big help keeping the wannabe writer on track. There's something about having to show up with a finished chapter every month that will keep your nose to the old grindstone.

    I turned up a guy this morning who really needs a group. He's got wonderful ideas, but needs lots of help to get them out on paper.

    PS: I started off with a much bigger message about the writer's group this morning, but it got lost in the shuffle. What the bloody heck happened on the boards this morning? Everything I tried to do ended me up at a message that the band width was overwhelmed. Blah!!!
