One thing, though. As far as i'm aware, there's no rule against talking about non-SW stuff in the threads. It'd probably be good for the long-term health and vitality of the thread if we go off-topic sometimes.

 

Agreed, and it's something we do around here every now and then, when Siobhan would talk about her float trips or life at Disney, Ash with her homework or me and my lack of sleep.

Something about SW fandom and insomnia.... I'll have to investigate that one day.

Due to a dare with a friend, I can't write crossovers until 2012, but when I can, I am...

1. Putting Callista in the TARDIS and;

2. Doing a crossover between Knight Rider, Airwolf, Macgyver, Remington Steele, the A-Team and possibly other 80's action shows.

Don't worry. I know most of you have never heard of those shows.

 

As a matter of fact, I've heard of all of them except for Air Wolf .

 

If you can pencil in 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King', I'm in!

Well, it's officially Hoth again in St. Louis! So when is this mythical 'Spring' supposed to kick in?

Two bits of news:

1) The official Star Wars site has released an image of the final covers for the Blu-Ray set later this year; you can check it out here.

2)Despite being dead-tired after work, tons of things to do, etc... I finally made a dent in my final Luke-Callie story, and I hope to have it posted here by the end of the week. Or July, at the latest (if I go by my Procrastinator Clock?).

Knowing that the Saga will be coming out on Blu-Ray? soon has filled me with some inspiration. I know that the OT is high up on my wish-list.

I know, I'm sure once the BR discs come out and DH2 is no more (*sniff*), I will be back to writing SW fic again.

 

I already own the OT on DVD and have some old VHS tapes too. I also don't own a blu-ray player and am trying to hold off on buying one as long as possible because, really, I don't need to be able to count the number of pores on the actors' skin.

 

I still treasure my OT box set (before the special editions were released in theaters). I also have a ticket souvenir from the time Lucasfilm and Nintendo joined together to celebrate Star Wars coming to Nintendo, and they released 'A New Hope' in theaters to celebrate.
