I agree with Tarsier. This wasn't beautiful or a good way to go. This was 150% bantha shavit and a kick to the waste extraction system to borrow a Beast Wars term. There was nothing good or noble here, just another waste of character.

Where's it being held?

Probably wouldn't go even if it was in Boston, to be honest.

 

It's being held in Orlando, FL for the second time in a row. I remember going to two of them in Indianapolis. Not that far of a drive and a lot of fun.

That's why I've held onto my original collection. I still have an Optimus Prime from '84 sitting on my desk next to my Macbook, keeping watch over night.

I have some from the 80's and 90's, but one time a cousin of mine came over and... *Sad and angry sigh* My Optimus Prime lost both arms and a leg. And my Shockwave had his head ripped off!

I've got encore reissues and been shopping on the vintage market for some of them to add to the ones I was able to save. I am seriously addicted to the neo-G1 toys they've been releasing.
