Already have it pre-ordered . I really wish it that the original version of the OT, though *sigh*.

And I'm not getting the prequels, just the OT.

 

I don't own a blu-ray player, so... nope.

And ugh, vacation on the 20th! Why can't it be then??!

 

My vacation falls on the 15th, which is pay day also. Double bonus!

I graduated from college in 2000. I am not doing summer reading. {face_laugh]

 

All I can say is Marcia was kinda royally screwed (not unlike a certain lady Jedi we know and love).

 

It happens all the time in art. Film is ultimately a collaboration. Like, if they rebooted Star Wars, it would be a completely different movie. They'd probably use Disney Channel darlings to be Luke and Leia. The result would be an inferior movie.

What? The idea of the High School Musical kids as Luke and Leia doesn't appeal to you? We could also set the whole thing in high school, and make the Empire preps and the Rebel Alliance into some pretentious club that thinks they're nonconformists because they all dress alike.

Ok, switching gears... did anyone see the trailer for the blu-ray release? Why, why, why did 99% of the cut scenes always have to involve Luke? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're getting to see them finally, but dude, Luke always seems to be the afterthought. He's only the main character .

 

Oh, I read Conviction. I think I've figured it out.

Abeloth is the Corruption. So if Callista had feelings for Luke, Abeloth turned those to an obsession.

 

But... she's still dead? So to me, it doesn't really matter .

 

Good thing I stopped following EU after CotJ[/].

As for the Blu-Ray set, I'm surprised that they won't include the original theatrical release. Time for eBay!

They finally updated the EU banner, but I'm proud that the Callista one had a good run. And I'm more proud of all the Callistars for keeping this thread alive. You rock!
